Our Organic Cardamom Pods are grown on a small scale, family owned farm in Honduras. Sweet, aromatic, and gently citrusy, these whole green pods offer a complex flavour that enhances both sweet and savoury dishes. Our organic cardamom is hand harvested, non-irradiated, and non-GMO, and carefully handled to preserve its natural oils and rich aroma. Used whole or lightly crushed, the pods release their essential oils slowly, adding depth and warmth to recipes. Cardamom pods are widely used in teas, baking, and cooking. They are especially valued in global cuisines for their distinctive flavour. They also serve a key ingredient in several of our in-house blends, including Chai Spice, Apple Spice, and Garam Masala. Hand packed on Vancouver Island, BC, our cardamom pods are a versatile kitchen staple that bring aromatic complexity, gentle warmth, and a subtle citrus lift to everyday recipes.
